An independent punk rock label located in Van Nuys (Los Angeles) California. The label was started in 1993 out of a 10 by 10 room. By reading a book called "How to Run an Independent Record Label" they figured out how to release a 7 inch vinyl record. Now, the label runs from a 3000 square foot warehouse and has new releases almost every month.

Named P is for Panda, the label is the project of Chad Pearson who founded and ran The Militia Group for 12 years. While the company initially began as a t-shirt company, Chad is now branching out into a proper indie label. Like Hopeless' other imprint, Subcity Records, P is for Panda has a strong charitable arm, with a third of its profits going to various charities.
